Our roots begin in the Spring of 2014, in Olympia, WA. A small photographer/model group met up for pinup adventures, we went from "Project Pinup" and evolved into Capital City Dolls. With the addition of new members and a few structure changes, we began to start fundraisers for the MS Walk in 2015. In the Summer of 2017, Capital City Dolls expanded into the Tri-Cities. In 2018, we went through more structural change; operating with our charity work in mind. In addition to offering the chance prospect for membership, which can lead to full membership. 

 

​In 2019, our club has become in two chapters in Washington State; The Western Washington Chapter (founded 2014) and The Tri-Cities Chapter (founded 2017). We are excited for the small, yet significant changes that we are making to give our little pinup club a hint of that PNW uniqueness! Keep an eye out for us in the coming year!

 

Pinups for body positive lifestyle, community outreach, and self-love advocates. We firmly believe in uplifting ourselves, each other and the community. Each member brings something new, fun and unusual to their chapter and the organization as a whole. It is the bonds and environment, that our members create and share within our club; that makes Capital City Dolls unique.

Our Western Washington chapter ranges from Thurston to King and into Kitsap counties. Our Tri-Cities chapter is hard at work reaching out to their surrounding areas. The Tri-Cities chapter has worked with their local Adopt Shelter Animals Pets - West Richland with a calendar photoshoot in 2018. 

 

 Our charity work ranges from our annual team with the MS Walk for the MS Society (both chapters work closely with their local MS Society), working with Value Village for our annual clothing drive to help fund our MS Walk team. We have executed local food drives and donation drives for local animal rescue in Pierce County. We’ve also worked with near and sorta-far active duty/veteran associations, with the annual pageant benefit being a military charity.

 

 When we aren’t hustling textiles, or crafting our signature hair flowers, we can be seen at various car shows and pinup events through the South Sound and Tri-Cities. Capital City Dolls is a not-for-profit pinup club. Truly, Washington’s premiere pinup club!
